Bridge of Earn

Land at Old Edinburgh Road/Dunbarney Avenue

Welcome

Scotia Homes are delighted to be bringing forward proposals for a residential development, incorporating open space and associated infrastructure at the above address, which is identified as  site H14 in the Local Development Plan.

We submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) on the 27th October 2021 to Perth and Kinross Council for this planned residential development which outlined our plans for public consultation. The first Scotia Homes pre-application consultation event was held between 24th November 2021 and 15th December 2021, which aimed to receive the views of the community and allow these contributions to be fed into the detail design process.

Following this on-line exhibition, detailed proposals for the site have been worked up and your comments have helped to inform the final plans. A follow-up drop-in event will be held in the Bridge of Earn Institute (Main Room), Station Road, Bridge of Earn, PH2 9EA on Thursday 31st March 2022, between 2:30pm and 6:30pm. Please register your attendance by contacting Aneesa Miller at aneesa.miller@libertyone.co.uk

This second event will provide us with an opportunity to present the feedback on the first event to the local community. Your comments are therefore very important to us and will be reported to Perth & Kinross Council as part of the planning application process. We will also summarise any comments received and set this out in a Pre-Application Consultation Report which will explain the consultation undertaken on the proposals. An Application for Planning Permission for the proposed development will then be submitted to Perth & Kinross Council in April/May 2022.

You will have an opportunity to make comments directly to Perth & Kinross Council once the planning application is submitted, and Perth & Kinross Council will undertake notification of neighbours and consultation with the community council as part of the planning application.

We would therefore invite you to view the content of the presentation boards, consider the proposed development and use the feedback form on the website to submit your comments.
